Take card payments (Stripe)

Connect Stripe

1. Go to Settings → Card payments.
2. Click Set up payments. Stripe asks for your business and bank details on its own pages.
3. Back in PestShift, the card shows Verifying while Stripe checks your details (usually minutes, sometimes up to a day), then Active.

If it says Action needed, click Finish setup to give Stripe what it's missing. Stripe dashboard opens your Stripe account.

How customers pay

Invoice emails include a link to the invoice, with a Pay button. The customer pays on Stripe's secure checkout page and gets a receipt. From a visit on the calendar you can also send a payment or deposit link by email.

For service plans, open the plan's Autopay section and click Email autopay link. Once the customer saves a card, each plan invoice is charged automatically.

Payouts and fees

It's your own Stripe account: payouts go straight to your bank, and PestShift never holds your money. Card payments through PestShift include a 1% platform fee plus Stripe's processing fee.
