Recurring billing and autopay for pest control service plans
Chasing a payment after every quarterly visit adds up. With plan billing, a service plan bills monthly, quarterly or yearly on its own schedule, and customers who save a card are charged automatically, to your own Stripe account.

What it does
On any service plan, choose how it bills: per visit (the default), monthly, quarterly or yearly. Set the amount each period, the day billing starts, and whether it charges on the start date or the 1st of the month. Add an initial service fee if you charge one, or a discount for paying a year up front. The form previews it as you type, like "Visits every 3 months, billed $40 every month, next charge Nov 1".
At the start of each period PestShift issues one plan invoice, numbered like your other invoices, with sales tax when the service is taxable. The plan's visits are covered, so they don't get invoices of their own; extra work added to a visit is invoiced as usual.
- Monthly, quarterly or yearly billing, or per visit
- Initial service fee, charged after the first visit is done
- Yearly prepay discount
- Plan invoices in your Invoices list, on Home and in Reports
- Pause, resume and cancel without double charges
Autopay with the customer's agreement
Customers get a link to save a card and agree to autopay for that plan, at that amount. After that each period is charged automatically, and they get the invoice by email. If a charge fails, PestShift tries again and emails the customer; if it keeps failing, it shows on Home under Needs attention.
A price change starts with the next bill and the customer is told first. A new amount needs their approval before autopay charges it; until then they get invoices with a pay link. Cancelling a plan stops the charges and removes the saved card.
Your money, your Stripe account
Card payments run through your own Stripe account, connected in a few minutes, and go straight to your bank. The same 1% platform fee applies as on other card payments.
Who it's for
Shops selling monthly mosquito, quarterly general pest or annual termite plans who want steady income without sending a payment link after every visit. Plan billing is set up by the owner; office staff can see it but not change it.
