A pest control technician app that keeps working with no signal
Crawl spaces, basements and rural routes don't have signal, and a technician shouldn't lose a chemical record because of it. PestShift's technician app opens their day, completes jobs and saves records offline, then syncs when they're back in range.

What your technicians get
My day shows today and the next two days, in visit order. Each visit has the time, customer, service, address with a map link, tap-to-call, access notes like gate codes or a dog on site, the plan it belongs to, and what was applied at that property last time.
From the visit they start the job, then complete it: treatment notes, recommendations for the customer, the chemical record, photos and, if you turn it on, the customer's signature. If the customer pays on the spot, they can mark it paid by cash or check.
How offline works
Once My day has loaded with signal, it's kept on the phone. With no signal, the technician still sees their visits and can start and complete them, fill in chemical records and add photos. Everything is queued on the phone and sent when the connection comes back, automatically.
If something changed in the office while they were offline, say the visit was cancelled or moved to another technician, it doesn't silently overwrite either side. It lands in a Needs review list on your Home screen, with what the technician entered kept safe.
- Works offline: My day, start and complete, notes, chemical records, photos
- Weather added to offline records when they sync, for the time of application
- Photos resized and stripped of location data before upload
- Needs signal: office screens, other technicians' days
Installing it
Send your technician a link. On Android, the browser offers to install it; on iPhone, PestShift walks them through adding it to the home screen in Safari. It takes about 30 seconds and opens full screen like any other app. It isn't in the App Store or Google Play: it installs straight from the browser, so there's no store account or update to wait for.
Who it's for
Technicians who work in places with patchy signal, which is most of them, and owners who are tired of records written up at the kitchen table at 9 p.m. Owners can open any technician's day from the same screen when they have signal.
Questions, answered
- Yes, for their day: viewing visits, starting and completing them, chemical records, notes and photos. It syncs when the phone is back online. It needs to have loaded once with signal first.
- Not yet. It installs from the browser onto the home screen on iPhone and Android, and opens like a regular app.
- Plans are priced by number of technicians: 1, up to 5, or up to 10. Office staff accounts are free.
- The first completion wins and the other is kept for you to review, so nothing the technician typed is lost.
- Yes. Photos are kept on the phone and uploaded when there's signal, resized and with their location data removed.
